Last year, Australian Media Engagement Project (AMEP) engaged in a number of events around, “Beyond the Game – Is there a crisis in Australian democracy?” We believe there is a crisis, and that crisis affects, and will continue to affect, the fairness, well being and shared prosperity of Australian society. Others might disagree!
Therefore, we think it might be time for stronger public discourse on the principles of the Rule of Law. For this to happen we need a critical mass of independent journalists to report on the debate.
